Sensing the world
Sensing the world with your senses doesn't mean entering the same old boring world of things and lifeforms on the planet earth you feel you are so familiar with.
Are you tired and stressed? Do you feel like your emotions and thoughts are sometimes just too much? Don't worry, I'm here to support you. Try to observe your thoughts as they arise. Do not judge them as bad or good, just watch. After sometime you will see most of the thoughts repeat themselves. This person is good, this person is bad. This person did this, this person did that. I'm not good because... I can't get what I want because... If this or that wasn't here, I would be happy. If this or that was here, I would be happy, but it can't be here because...
STOP!
Just come back to the feeling of your feet standing on your ground. The air entering your nose. Just feel your senses. Sensing and feeling are two different things. You can feel terrible but still feel your legs walking and your lungs breathing or a certain pressure in your tummy. It helped me to feel into my tummy when I walk. Just feel it being there. Just feeling my tummy as I walk. It is so vulnerable and soft, isn't it?
We often see information and thoughts as the only way to seek knowledge. We feel like every information must be passed on in words. Sometimes we can think the bodily senses are inferior to thoughts, emotions and knowledge. But even our senses bring us into a new world. It is not a world of the earth as we would expect. But a world much more vast than thought.
Every sensing of colour, feeling of coldness or warmth, softeness of hardness tells us something about the energy this world is made of. Thoughts usually just repeat themselves on and on and on. Most of them you already know, they just put on a little different makeup and dress.
That is the reason you feel so bored and anxious spending all your time in their company. Just decide to feel your hands or legs or tummy or nose for a change. Everyones door into present consciousness is different.
You will find what works for you. Good luck đź’—
